A PhD in physics specializing in photonics, he began his career in academic research before making the leap into entrepreneurship as co-founder of a deeptech AI startup for digital health. He has led engineering teams in healthtech, served as Head of AI at Microsoft-backed startups, and is currently Director of AI Capability at AstraZeneca, where he drives the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence, the evaluation of new technologies, and the creation of strategic partnerships on a global scale.
